APR Snub Mount, How long do they Last?

I have had Snub mount in my car about 2 years.
I had the Front of the car to do some work, then when I went to replace the front, noticed the Snub mount was very loose, actually flicked it of the mounting post with my little finger.
I Had a Spare, so I replaced it, it seems the material was fatiqued..
I wish some one would make a product to last as well as perform...

I'd think they'd last in proportion to the abuse they take. It is only urethane. Only so much load a

cross section of polymer will take. I'd think the condition of the engine mounts would affect the snub's survivability as well. I gotta think yours are all ABUSED

Maybe modify (make a new one) the basket it runs in and cast your own with increased contact area and wall.

I think a couple of the S4 guys have had theirs crack....

IMO, the ultimate mount would be a rubber inside, polyurethane outside.

One of these days I'll make such a mount, I just haven't got around to it yet. I've got almost everything to do it....
