APR Stage III overboost problem - please help.
I have the APR Stage III kit and, under full throttle, my boost gauge is pegged at 25psi (who knows how much higher it is going!). Once pegged, my car starts to shudder, kinda like a fuel cut or detonation. Anyway, how can I solve this problem? I would like to run about 20psi. APR told me that the 25psi boost is "normal," but is clearly not interested in addressing the issue. I have the original version of the 91 octane software. Thanks - Chris

Call APR back and ask for Matt.
Some of the people who work the phones specialize in working phones. =/
Be careful in the meantime - Ray Khan had a similar issue after his install pinched a hose and he ended up blowing the powerplant. Take it easy until it's fixed.

Have you done any Vag logs when the misfires happen over 6k rpms.
If your producing spikes of 30psi your over spooling the turbo by the time you reach 6k rpms, this would also put your injectors at their max and end up running lean. The very high pressure inside the cylinder could also be blowing out the spark causing the misfires, the tuning is just not setup to handle that high of a boost.

I had a simlilar problem
it ended up being the N75 to wastegate vac line being pinched. I would check the vac lines of the N75 as a first step. When I logged 115, I would see a normal requested boost and a wacky, high actual boost. Definitely stay out of boost until you get this resolved.

Had similar issue.
For me, it ended up being a faulty N75 valve. Boost would build up to b/w 25-30 psi and car would shudder as you described. Definately check vac lines to N75 or valve itself.
