Default ATP manifold with GT30??

Any one actually tried this combo? I called to ask if it would fit because the turbo housing is physically larger than the GT25 housing, "it should fit" is the response I got. ????? Thats not going to cut it for a $1350 dollar turbo....anyone actually bolted one up?

Default No one has tunning for it.

There is also no way to run a chip only with it since it will need injectors that are over 550cc. Which means you will have to run stand alone. You think the $1350 is alot of money wait till you look at the stand alone setups, look to spend another $2500 plus injectors, fuel pump and time on a dyno to get it all dialed in. The turbo is the least of your worries.

BTW the ATP manifold is a T3 flange not a GT25, they are different.

Default Good luck with it. Should be nice if your putting it on that 5 cylinder.

BTW why did you go with the older GT30 with the 7 blade wheel?

Default It WILL bolt up to the manifold

its the same 4 bolt flange as the T3/T4. so it will bolt on to the manifold. Tuning will be another issue. I ask because that turbo (GT30) is on a buddy of mines 1.8 liter Mazda 323 GT turbo and it is AWESOME. Power comes on HARD and early and it makes over 260whp at 17psi of boost. Great driving turbo.

Default Those #'s seem a little low for a real GT30 at 17psi.

Should be producing 400 crank hp easy at that level of boost.

Default IMHO seems an overkill.. why not settle for GT25?

i think this one is better price and performance wise.

I am 70% sure this will make more power for 1.8T then GT30.

unless you are making a drag racing car.

Default Or a GT2835 hybrid.

I think most of them are moving toward the GT28 setup over the GT25 now.
