Default ATP turbo upgrade

I was browsing the ATP website and came across their 350 HP GT-28RS kit for the 1.8T A4. I haven't seen any posts about this kit, it it garbage? I'm guessing the software is ****ty, but I may be wrong.
I'm also DBW so I've been looking towards the upcoming APR stage 3+ but this kit looks comparable. Has anyone had experience with this kit on DBW A4's?
Another thing that makes me wonder about this kit is that fact that they have a picture of a silver S4 next to the name of the kit for the A4. Makes you think about the effort involved to market correctly....

ATP...too good to be true?

This turbo is nice. On my setup I have 5psi by 2800rpm and from 4000 to redline it pulls very hard. This turbo loves race gas

I did my deal custom but the hardware kit is the way to go if you want to save time or if you are having someone install it.

Also the DBW cars are not that hard to tune. I'm running k03 software with custom fueling and it runs great.

If your looking for a bolt on and forget it then I would wait for APR or some of the Tuners using GIAC. But if you like getting your hands a little dirty then ATP is a option.

One last thing the ATP can be a less expensive option but don't forget you still have to get fueling upgrades, custom intake and piping, boost controller, exhaust, etc and to really take advantage of the turbo you prob need a fmic and a strong clutch!

Default Actually if you look at that "S4" you will notice the license plate says "NOTANS4"

It is an A4 with S4 wheels and bumper...(the page talks about this as well)

I am very interested in this Turbo setup as well, but I am a 01.5 as well, and I want to keep my ability to switch programs without pulling my chip

Default It appears good...

This is almost the kit I was thinking of making ever since i heard about the GT28RS comming out. I havent actually dealt with one of theri kits though. And in the description of the kit it specifically says the car in the picture is not an S4.

I'm not talking about the yellow one, check out the silver one at the top of the page.

Default Take it from someone who has delt with ATP for ~2 yrs.

The hardware ATP sells is good stuff, but their software tunning still has room for lots of growth. They have been working on this though. My suggestion would be to buy the hardware from ATP and get software tunning from someone else (at this point).

You can check the link at the bottom for pics of a GT28RS kit of theirs on my a B6 A4.
