Default audi 100 121kW 2.2 turbo pressure

Dear sirs,

I'm a great audi fan and have recently bought a audi 100 2.2 turbo quattro with 121 kW power.

The on board computer displays the turbo pressure: 1.3 bars from 3500 rpm. I find it quite high for a standard engine, what do you think about it?

That is actually 0.1 to 0.2 low for the max TOTAL system pressure (atmosphereic + boost). The MC code engine (what you have) only makes around 0.5bar of boost pressure, but atmospheric is 0.9-1.0bar. Add the two up, and you get what the (slow reacting and not always accurate) dash LCD reads.

BTW, for your car, you should be posting in the 5000/200/V8 forum, as your 100TQ is essentially a 200q with a different interior (going from memory of the european cars).

Default thanks

Thank you for the fast response, I thought this was the right place because I didn't know my 100 turbo quattro is essentially a 200.

I'll post in the future in the 5000/200/V8 forum.
