Audi S3 shift knob, DSG

Audi S3 shift ****, DSG
have a tech question for You guys, or a few of them to be more accurate
Trying to install S3 Shift **** on A3 ( w/DSG transmission ) and have a few problems here,
1) Do You know if the S3 **** comes in a service position ( this one didn't ) like a regular DSG ****, with a locking key.
2) Is the shift mechanism identical on A3 and S3? The groove on a blue plastic pull-on rod is on a side ( east-west location ) since the release button is on a right side. On an S3 **** button is in the frond ( like TTS ) and would plastic pull-on release ( by some logic ) is positioned north-south?!
3) If above is the case, can I take the shifter mechanism out and rotate the pull-up release or am I looking at buying the shifter mechanism to make this work?!
