Hello Everyone,

I have an audi tt 1.8T 225 HP. When I start my car, the car runs perfect, then the power drains and I have noticed that while trying to accelerate with a BMW 325, and the BMW went way faster than my car.

I have cleaned the Mass air flow, and changed the catalytic converters. Yet yesterday I have noticed that the TURBO intercoolers are painted red while the car was at the workshop (Car paint). And most probably when the turbo is being overheated its losing power.

I was wondering how can I clean the intercoolers? Can I use nail polish remover on the intercooler or any other suggestion given to clean them?

Or you think I should change them :/?

Id think you could use a paint stripper to get that off. Not sure that might be the issue tho. Whats all done to the car?
