B6 S4 Performance Wheels Purchase Questions

I have started looking into aftermarket wheels for my B6 S4, but have some general questions/concerns before making my purchase. If anyone can answer any of these questions I would appreciate it.

Right now I am deciding between:
a) Kosei K1 TS 18*8 (16.8lbs)
b) BBS RGR 18*8 (18.6lbs)
c) SSR Comp-H 19*8 (20.3lbs)
d) BBS RGR 19*8.5 (21.2lbs)

1. Are Kosei wheels strong? I drive my car on a variety of different road conditions and don't know if the lightweight Kosei's are worth the tradeoff of the other forged wheels.

2. Does increasing the diameter (18" to 19")serve any performance purpose or is it solely for looks?

3. When it comes to performance is increasing the size of the wheel (18*8 to 19*8.5) worth the weight increase in the wheel?

If anyone could lend some advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, and BE EAZY!

dont know about 1... but i would tend to think they are soft or semi-fragile. You will always be risking the wheel.

2. the wheel diamet increase leads to a lower profile on the tire, and related stiffer sidewall, which has a minor benefit on cornering performance.

3. is a traction issue... do you want more traction capability?

Re: some answers

I do want more traction, but given Quattro's superior traction to begin with (in comparison to FF/FR) its not my overall concern. I feel like a good tire would ultimately be more important than the wheel when it comes to that.

My question is more a concern of the trade-off between an increase in weight that a larger wheel brings, to the increased traction or other benefits I may not know of.
