Default Bailey Installed - Thanks AWE! (LONG)

As others stated, I got mine from AWE with a nice package of M&Ms included!

Bailey looks great. Lack of directions was a little disconcerting, but at least I was able to find them online.

Stock piece is pathetic. I could easilly move the valve by hand, whereas Bailey is much stiffer. Install was somewhat of a PITA. Actually, the only bad part was the third "smallest hose" that's like the hose from a bike pump? If you've seen it, you know what I mean. That damn clamp on the end was a biatch to get off.

Difference in ride was dramatic. I drive fairly hard, and car had def lost a step compared to when freshly chipped. This is 2000 A4 1.8TQMSX with APR Rev 3. Anyway, a lot of punch, esp between 2000-3000 was regained, and it also seems to pull into higher rpms better. I was getting moaning (buuuuuuuh) sound under WOT below 3000 rpm, with surging before, whereas that is MUCH better now. Also, definitely holds boost between shifts better now as well. Anyway, anyone on the fence and chipped should go for it. I guess there are several alternatives: Forge, Baily, MC, etc, but you should feel a diff with something beefier than stock.

Thanks,

FB

Which way do you install? The side nipple faces down and connect to the turbo hose?
