is a ball bearing turbo better than a non-ball bearing one?? tia....
I plan to upgrade to a KO4 and have done a bit of research. Now I have more to learn than I thought. There are some ko4 kits with ball bearing turbos? whats that all about, is it better, how will it change spool up and is there any high rev diff?? thanks for the help

I don't think 3K-W makes any ball bearing turbos due to their OEM supplier status. The variable vane diesel turbos they make don't even have them AFAIK.<ul><li><a href="http://www.turbodriven.com/en/turbofacts/design_compressor.asp">3K-W design "philosophy"</a></li></ul>

Where are you getting that information from? You may be confusing inline bearing which is what the KO4 with dual bearing turbo's like Garrett.
