Default Which is better... H&R sport Springs or H&R Coilovers?

I'm thinking of getting a suspension upgrade on my Audi and need to know if I should just get regular H&R sport springs or spend a litlle more for H&R coilovers?

Can you explain why it's better then coilovers? your reply doesn't really explain why it's much better. Is the ride smother then one using coilovers? Or is it better because it's cheaper?

WOW, this is new information I wouldn't have expected considering cost. What would be an ideal suspension then? I have an A4 1.8T quattro with sport package... would it be wise to just replace the springs to H&Rs and keep my shocks?

Default COILOVERS!

I used to run Eibachs and Bilsteins... no comparison...

Plus the adjustability is excellent.

Default I'd go H&R Sport/Bilstein...

It really depends on what you're going to be doing with the car. Go coilovers only if you are very into taking your car to the track...and can spend the cash to get it corner balanced. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

Default OK, since this is obviously a religous thing.... (pretty equal split of opinions) tell me this...

Without saying which is BETTER (if you can), just tell me what's the difference? I can get spings alone for $350 or complete coilover at $1600 - $2K. What do I get for the extra, LOTS of extra $$ and why would I want to spend it? Thanks.
