big turbo/ custom engine guys please help
what plugs are you guys running? i am runninfg ngk copper, single prong plugs ,one heat range colder. they keep fouling out. i have atp beta programing with a 3 bar fpr installed. wide band is going in tonight.maybe increase in boost. i think it could be the big cams. i dont know if they would cause a problem or not. once i hit 5-6k the car sputters and breaks up. before i blew the motor this never happened. now with the 2.0 liter and the 280 cams it has a problem . just thought i would pick your brains for some help.......thanks ,dave

probably bad software!
my guess is you're maxing out the MAF and AFR gets all wrong.
Any fault codes ?
If the motor blew with the same software, I really would consider finding out why it blew...

no....i took out the upsolute and put the atp back in ......
i know it runs goog with the atp. the motor blew on upsolute. i was just thinking the cams are hurting me. i can change them out. but i really need to know why this thing is running so ****ty

get a best guess for a chip to match what info you give or other options i'll not go into detail about.If you're going the radical mile you need to install a F.A.S.T. or speedpro,etc.aftermarket system that can by tuned on the dyno in real time.Changes can be made w/a laptop at anytime and is the only way to get the full benefit of what you put into youre motor. Some people won't agree but for an example..I drive a 1000 h.p. nova on the street w/a program tuned for vp red & load a program for 114oc to race mid 8 sec. times at the track...It works period.
