Boost pressure control valve
Recently I had installed a diverter valve on my 97 A4, yesterday when I went to get chipped, the VAG said that my boost pressure control valve was open and that my throttle body couldn't adjust. I read somewhere on AW that it is possible to break the ground wire to the boost control valve while installing a DV. Does anyone know of anyone to check and how to fix it. Also, is there anyway I could have screwed up the throttle body while installing the DV. Thank you

Re: Boost pressure control valve is located...
...near the turbo (compressor) inlet. It's actually a solenoid (N75) that allows a pressure signal (from compressor volute) to open the wastegate actuator depending on input from the ECU. Did you possibly forget to reconnect the wiring harness to N75 when you installed the DV? The ECU monitors N75 for continuity of the solenoid coil, btw.
The throttle body is on the opposite side of the engine, so it's likely that VAG-COM was checking the status of all components before completing throttle body alignment.
