Boost Readings....does this sound correct?

Boost Readings....does this sound correct?
Ok well the boost gauge is on the car after 5 months of sitting in my house and not knowing where to mount it. I need help though i popped my gauge on and went for a few runs....these are the readings that i get
it boost up to 20 pounds but it drops like all the way down to like 13 or 15 and then when the gear changes it goes back up to 20 again and then drops again....is this correct i understand it can drop a lil bit but dropping that many pounds doesnt sound correct in other boosted cars that i have seen the boost stays constent i dont know if Audis are different. Let me know.
