Buying CPO - advice and tune question
 

Hey All,

I’m thinking of buying a CPO 2014 or 15 A4. Or possibly an older S4. I currently own a mk7 GTI with an APR stage 1 time. Just looking to try it’s big classier Audi brother.

ive always wondered how tunes work with either trading a car that’s tuned in or buying a used car that might be tuned. Since vw/ Audi flags tuned cars, how does this affect buying used? Does getting a CPO guarantee the car is not tuned? The CPO might erase the tune, but wouldn’t it technically be flagged with. TD1? Basically, I’d want to buy a used car knowing my warranty wouldn’t be voided because the previous owner had a tune. Preferably would want a car that’s never been tuned as well. Any help appreciated!
