Bypassing post 02 voltage?
Say if I wsa running high flow cats and was getting codes all day long, how much work would it be to use resistors to bypass the voltage output of the secondary 02's?
Im not a genius at this and I know most of you know alot about this subject. Can this be done?
Is it possible to use a constant voltage feedback from the post 02 throughout open and closed loop?
I know both of my rear 02s are swinging voltage feedback back and forth and its sole purpose is to measure cat efficiency. What I dont know is how the ECU would react to a constant voltage feedback, if it was within limit.

Re: Bypassing post 02 voltage?
well, I'm not sure about a totally flat voltage, but I know for a fact that the ECU would consider a very slowly fluctuating low RMS AC voltage averaging .450v as being ideal (ie: cat running at optimal efficiency).
It should fluctuate far less and much slower than the pre-cat o2.

I've been told these will work....
but haven't tried them myself<ul><li><a href="http://www.mileliminators.com/order.html">http://www.mileliminators.com/order.html</a></li></ul>

Hmm, seems shady...
Shows only info on payment and shipping but nothing about the actual product.
I guess I should just do the test myself and read the voltages between the two from cold start to WOT at Op. temp.
Its just really hard when you dont have a VAG Tool. One good thing is that I can grab the voltages from the harness at the firewall.
I should ask the Electronics board if it were be possible to use some sort of potentiometer if I see a decent fluctuation in feedback.
I have ne clue when it comes to this kind of crap. ;-)

I've not used one .. for whatever reason my set up doesn't toss a DTC or CEL w/ a test pipe but here
is another source ..<ul><li><a href="http://www.casperselectronics.com/cgi-local/store/commerce.cgi?product=IMPORTS">http://www.casperselectronics.com/cgi-local/store/commerce.cgi?product=IMPORTS</a</li></ul>
