can I drain and fill a 2.8 trans using the fill port?
I dont have the specal tool to open the drain port on a used 2.8 trans I just got. I want to change the fluid before i install it but when i opened the port i found some type of spring loaded port. the port was a large torx fitting. I believe the drain is a tamper proof triple square but it might be a tamper proof torx.
