16395 Cam-Timing Adj. Bank 1, Advance Setpoint Not Reached
35--10 --- Intermittent

The car feels a little sluggish lately, so I plugged in the computer and used up VAG-COM to perform throttle adapation. Before I performed the throttle adapation, I checked the engine fault code and the aforementoin fault code appeared. I cleared the code, performed throttle adaptation and did a short run with the car. Used VAG-COM to check after the drive and no more fault code. FYI, car is APR chipped.

Default guessing

The intermittent 35-10 means it only happened a little, maybe one time. You can get the same intermittent sub-code if you unplug and plug in your ECU.

Sounds like the VVT didnt advance the (exhaust?) cam as far as it was commanded for some reason.

Default Thanks. I have been paying close attention to my car these couple days.

I try to vary the driving condition by doing some mixed city and highway driving including shifting in different rpm. After each drive I would plug in VAG-COM and see if I get the same fault code, so far I couldn't replicate the problem.
