Default there was a compressor map posted for it on here

<center><img src="http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/turbo/k03_2.GIF"></center><p>However it must have been after January 15th since the search function can't find it. I wish they would fix the search function.

Oh wait, google pulled it out. See below.

This is courtesy of the link posted below.

It's quite ugly, perhaps someone has a better one.

Default I've never heard of anyone using more than a K04

I didn't even know a K05, let alone a K1 existed.

I think with a K04 (or GT25) you can get enough boost and power going with enough mods that you'll need to start worrying about strengthening the internals of your engine. So at that point the cost starts to get high due to the breadth of modifications involved.

This is assuming you are talking about a 1.8T. It's probably true of a 2.7T also though but I'm just not sure.

Default There are companies out there that use up to the K27 for our 1.8's.

I might do a K16 kit on my car that includes everything even a 3" turbo back exhaust.

Default K27 for 1.8's???

FYI, the K-27's are for modified Porsche 911's whose engine size is almost twice of a 1.8T's. There is no way that this turbo will work. Already some tuners had tried K-24's and they spool up on the upper rpm range let alone a K-27. Just to let you know, there is a larger KO-4 than the ones currently used by the major tuners here (KO4-15). The compressor housing and inlet are much larger than the above mentioned piece but its not released into kits at this time. In terms of exhaust, 2 1/2" is more than adequate, 3" is for folks who keep driving in the upper rpm range.
