can you remove the front differential of a 4wd vehicle to make it rwd?

Default can you remove the front differential of a 4wd vehicle to make it rwd?

just wondering.. a rwd a4 or s4 would be pretty cool
and im not flaming quattro

you can disconnect the front axels, and mount block off plates

I don't see how, the diff will just dump to the stubs.

It's called a 3-Series.

Not that simple. You'ld also have to 'lock' the center differential
