car not running properly

car not running properly
I have a 93 audi 80 20L single point injection.
it seems to idle a bit high about 1200.
It isnt going right when i drive along the road
im not bothered about the idle varying it just seems to have happened at the same time as the other problem.
when im driving along, especially when i take my foot of the pedal and then press the pedal again (coming up to turns in the road or going through town streets) there is a dead spot then it just goes again its very dangerous if there is a car close ahead of me.
some one told me that there isnt a cadburrettor in this model thats its a "single point injection"
I have seen some posts refer to a throttle body?
so is there anything that i can clean out?
any ideas ?
