Carbonfiber hood - initial purchase opportunity
With the great amount of interest shown the last time we offered carbon fiber hoods we'd like to present you guys with a opportunity to get a nice price break and help us out at the same time.
The last blowout was a result of us liquidating our stock to provide $$$ for the development and production of a new and improved carbon fiber hood. The new hood, although very similar to the old design, has a number of improvements most notable of which is IT FITS THE S4. Improvemets in fit and finish have also been addressed... this hood should look OEM.
Production is set for February and our introductory price will be the same as in our last sale - $800.
If you would like to become a part of the initial purchase we require a 50% non-refundable deposit on the hood - we cannot offer this great price without your help. Once hoods have been finished we will collect the other 50% and ship them. Shipping ranges from $80-100 depending on your location.
Each hood weighs less than 10 lbs improving the weight balance of your car somewhat conciderably (stock hood is 38lbs). The vents allow a great amount of ambient heat to escape from the engine pay lowering underhood temperatures and really helping cone air intakes do their work.
These hoods will fit any year and engine Audi A4 and S4 and should clear PES supercharged V6 engines. All hoods also include a fused grill at no extra charge. For pics check out Jason's car here .
Vortrag has also developed a carbon fiber trunk replacement for added weight savings. An initial purchase can be arranged for these as well if there is enough interest. Email me if you'd like one.
Please contact me (Dan@Turbo5.com) directly if you would like to order or have any questions (you can post on AW too

More pics
