Not sure if they'll be able to get the price down that low. A guy on ClubB5 is organizing this. Thought I'd post it here since I now need a new clutch myself. The price you can get it for seems pretty good. I haven't seen one for under $400 yet!!

I'll tell you in 100,000 miles Have one on the SUV, feels great. My stock one slipped a lot.

Default I've had bad luck with centerforce.

I've never put one on an Audi, but I tried one on my nitrous neon and it slipped from day one. And yes I broke it in properly and had it installed correctly. I've known several other people who have had bad experiences. The clutch itself just looked like a modified stock clutch. In general my advice would be unless you need more clutch for increased torque, stick with a stock clutch. I would also say if you do buy an aftermarket clutch go with a company that has a lot of experience with your particular application. Just my 2 cents.

Default you know why...

the secret to centerforce is they shave the the ring of the pressure plate to move the retaining spring towards the middle. by shaving the ring (crown) it adds more pressure to the OEM diaphram but you go from a 100% support contact to 50% you can think of it like a tire that has 0 deg camber and 10 deg camber.

i purchased one and took it apart... the real way to go is with a custom diaphram or a dual diaphram setup modular style
