Default chip and mod question for a4 2.0turbo

first off im a complete newbie. first time owning a german car. always had chevy V8's. i just picked up a 2006 audi a4 with the 2.0 turbo. which chip is best to get? ive done some searching and found APR chips. are they any good? the car is brand new like 30 miles, how long do u think i should wait before installing a chip. a buddy of mine said wait till over 10,000 miles, that sounded like overkill to me. what yall recommend? i dont know to much about turbo'd engines, and the website said to expect 40+ horsepower increase, is this really so? is that all i need just a chip? what other basic add ons do you recommend, and does anyone have any audi specific proformance parts website they recommend. thanks.

Default doritos are my favorite.

APR and GIAC are always a good bet. Often times, APR has factory deliever power and is real smooth. GIAC is usually more aggressive, gives you a little more kick back into your seat. But overall, they will produce pretty much the same numbers. I have no idea about REVO's software for the 2.0T, it may be good or it may be bad. So i have nothing for them.

When you do go with an upgraded chip, i would highly reccomend a new DV. Hyperboost and Forge are common. Bailey is too, but a lot of people have had failures, not EVERYONE, but there is a handful. Or you can do the DV from the TT, 710 valve. That is not as high quality as hyperboost or forge, but a handful of STG3 guys rn it, sometimes they fail sometimes they dont. They just arnt as strong as hyperboost or forge, but they should be OK to use.

Default Dahlback is my fav dv

I have had GFB, hyper, baileys, and 710 and dahlback is my fav amoung what I have used. As far as chips I like APR personally. Its nice that you can switch programs with the cruise control etc..

I aslo recommend getting an after market exhaust system with a chip.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tjmmotorsport.com/store/product.php?productid=16151&amp;cat=258&amp;page=1 ">click for diverter valve</a></li></ul>
