Default To chip or not to chip?

Anyone in the Fairfield County, CT or Westchester County, NY area willing to give me a test drive in a chipped A4 1.8T qms? Unsure whether or not to chip my 98.

If you chip, you may want to consider getting the chip put into a new ECU, keeping your stock ECU and chip untampered with. Cost more to do this, but when it comes times for service, you just swap ECU's and go. Just a peace of mind type of thing.

I agree, it's $695 well spent to get a spare ECU
