Default Choice of exhaust system, Milltek or LLtek??

I'm debating on two choices of exhaust, Milltek or Lltek. I have a 98 A4 Quattro 2.8 v6. I want something that is soft tone. Which one would you guys recommend? They both cost the same but since I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, which happens to be where Lltek is located, I can get better service. Thanks

Default Milltek is fairly new, so not many reviews - but I just ordered one

djnelsen's review of his Brullen (Lltek):

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1015921.phtml

The Brullen is 2.5" and I'm pretty sure the Milltek is 3". I've only read 2 reviews on the Milltek on the 2.8 and both say relatively quiet. One states you sacrifice a little bottom-end torque with the Milltek. I plan on posting a review in a few weeks after I driven w/ mine a bit. HTH,

Default Got Lltek's Bruellen on my S4

Not sure what gen it is but it sounds great. It has to prototypical sandblaster noise but I like it.

I left a friend's shop and everyone was outside remarking how cool it sounded.

Lawell Motorsports

Default Re: Choice of exhaust system, Milltek or LLtek??

If I had the $$ today, I'd go with the Milltek.

Default U pretty close to LLTEK

I live in the West coast and went to Montreal summer time and stopped by LLTEK for 1/2 a day. THere office is nice and I met the owner and all the staff there. THe LLTEK one is a Brullen exhaust system include downpipe (2.5" all the way with 3"tips) I currently have a Brullen with custom 2.5 piping on my 1.8T and sounds very nice. Not loud, but when u step on it, has a deep sporty tone.
