Default clunk in rear after shock/spring install. please read

I just had Intrax Springs and Koni Shocks on my S4.

The car looks and feel great, but I hear a weird clunking or clanking sound from the rear. I only hear it when going pretty slow.

I called the shop, and they are going to take a look at it tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what this could be?

The guy told me it could be a dust cover rubbing or something? He said that it shouldn't be serious and that it would be okay to drive?

Any ideas?

It's OK to drive, but check for the spring binding and rubbing against the shock body--happened to me, took ages to find and correct. Horizontal striations on the shock body could be an indication of the binding problem. My fix was new rear shocks and springs (from another suspension outfit). If that's not it, make sure your swaybar isn't hitting the subframe (problem with some after-market kits).

My car has a clunk in the trunk area when I take off and come to a stop sometimes. It is always empty and my dealer checked it and said just to bring it up at my first service. It only happens when I am not paying attention. Everytime I try to duplicate it nothing happens. Does this sound similar to your situation?

Not to be rude, but if I were you I'd take it back to the installer and have them fix the problem. If something is clunking then something is probably not right and even if it is okay to drive it that way:
a)you don't know it is okay and unless they look and determine it for sure, and
b)you shouldn't have to listen to a clunk because they just don't want to mess with it.

Just my thoughts.
