Default clutch break in questions

Well my spec stage 3 clutch + lw flywheel arrived today and will be installed next Friday, June 4th. Speedware MS is having a lapping day at Pacific Raceways that I want to take part in on June 16th. If I somehow manage to get 500 stop & go miles on my clutch by then, would it be safe to drive the clutch hard (no launches though) or should I wait for 1000 miles?

Default I'm pretty sure you'll be fine...

I don't think proper break-in on a clutch is very critical or even exact. I believe it just means that the clutch will reach its maximum friction after about 1000 miles. If you spin it a few times before then... no big deal.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

-Mike.
