Default Combine APR Chip & GIAC TipChip on A6 2.7t?

Hey all...

Would there be anything bad or weird or funky or dangerous about using an APR chip for the engine with the GIAC Tiptronic chip on my '01 A6 2.7t?

There's a local guy who does a lot with APR (hey, it's hard to find places to do this stuff in the Chicago area!!) but the thought of increasing the shift speed on the Tiptronic by 500% is very, very tempting.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Lou

As Brian said will work fine. You may wait just a bit, and see what the GIAC ECU product is that is coming out shortly. WIll be able to change programs also. If you order GIAC ECU and Tip chip together I think it saves you $100 off the Tip chip price. May be worth considering. Just a thought.
