Default Compressor surge related: Does anyone back off the throttle partially on boost? eg. city driving

Whenever I do this, i hear compressor surge or the fluttering sound. Secondly, I have an TIP so i'm wondering if thats why i hear compressor surge more because of a TCU?

You're probably not hitting compressor surge with that little thing.

Default Somethings to add:

The fluttering seems to happen if i back off partially at boost levels beyond 0.5bar, plus i'm running mbc only/N75 removed. But I do notice that the N75 does a good job of backing off boost . My BPV holds boost and based on the thumb test it doesnt leak. Also, would this boost reservior have anything related to this problem. My Forge 006 is running a blue spring also.

Default Your boost gage

reads after the throttle body? is that correct?
So you don't see any type of pressure spike, you should see vacuum pressure if you lift.

Your drawing:
It says "To Intake". where are you dumping your DV? To a point between the turbo and the MAF?

Why do you have a boost reservior? If you have a working BPV system, a reservior will only create lag. It could be used as a buffer or chamber to prevent surge during shifts, but I'd go with a larger intercooler if you needed that.

Default Sounds like a bpv issue or a bad vac line going to the bpv.

Look to see if the vac line is kinked in anyway.
