Default could these fault codes still be valid?

I recently upgraded to K04 with tune on my '12 Q5. The car drives fine, but I was being proactive and did an auto scan using ross tech several days after picking it up from the dealer. My question is how would I know if fault codes that come up during a scan are still valid? The one that really stuck out was a "cam adjustment actuator, cylinder 1" fault code priority 2 but showing last occurrence of 5/12. It hasn't re-occurred pass 5/12. If this issue still exist, wouldn't it have shown up with the latest date/time? The other fault codes were priority 6 and 7 and showing occurence at around the same time when the tune and K04 upgrade was being installed. Dealer has the car and looking into it, but they said when they ran the scan the other day they didn't show any fault codes with the cam adjustment actuator, cylinder1. Could this issue have cleared prior to them doing the scan yesterday or the day before ? If someone can shed light, that would be appreciated.
