D3 A8L 6 Speed Manual Swap
Hey all! I'm new here so delete if this is a wrong section to post. Thanks
I have a 05 A8L 4.2 and Im wanting to do a manual swap. From all the limited info that I was able to find it seems like a 6 speed out of a S4 with the same 4.2 v8 will bolt up but my question is will the front axles line up?; and if they don't, can that 6 speed send all the power to the rear wheels? Is there something else that I need to know before dumping an obese amount of money on this? Maybe a 6 speed out of a different Audi will work better? Thanks for your time!
