Damn Faulty Bailey BPV
Decided just to check the BPV to try and fix the bogging on gear change i experienced at the Drags.
Took it out, stuck my finger inside the valve, and Click, the piston clicked back into its seat! Hmm stuck piston hey..not good. Then I sucked on the vacuum nipple, hmm just keep sucking and sucking, damn thing is leaking, piston wont move.. Tossed it out, put in a new GFB Bypass valve, went for a drive, and presto, no bogging on 1-2 gear changes.. So much for reliability of aftermarket Valves. The GFB valve seems much better built and more heavy duty, price is good and made right here in australia. |
Out of curiousity, what BPV did you have before?

I've had one of these for a while. It also works good .
