Default Great Idea but...

If the GT25 is going to be used with the stock manifold, I think the size and design is going to be too restrictive to benefit from the larger turbo... Your probably going to experience lots of turbo lag from this setup..

If its using the small 260 HP core on a well ported manifold, it should run really well and produce 260-280 HP mark. It will give a s4 run for its money..
Excellent for S3 & TT's, they have a little better exhaust manifold..

Default I'm purchasing one of your previous GS4 Stage II kits from a buddy of mine in Canada...

He was fortunate to have the Ballistic twin-ceramic ball bearing GT 25 with the kit. He had the previous model then sent it back, and then you guys provided him with the newer turbo.

Included was the Front mount intercooler, manifold, injectors, ecu, plugs, gaskets, lines, egt gauge, FPR etc...

I'll post some pics and results after the install!
Will have the kit after taxes come in!!!
Come on money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default LAG-MANIA!! stock A4 manifold will restrict ANYTHING below the turbo.

Cheap way out IMHO.

Default Actually, you may be wrong on that....

...becuase the smaller diameter of a stock manifold will maintain the energy level of the exhaust charge coming out of the head. If you dump the exhaust into a manifold/header that is larger than the exhaust port in the head, then you get a drop in energy becuase you are providing room for the charge to expand and lose energy. There is a break even point on this, but I doubt we would find it with a 1.8L.

The Extrude Honed manifold may indeed do a great job of maintaining and preserving the energy level of the exhaust charge. The bottleneck with the K04 is with the exhaust scroll.

Flame on...

Default One problem with the stock manifold...

is that it is prone to cracking. What will happen when you put a larger, heavier turbo on it? Or if you port it to make it flow better (making it thinner in areas)?

If it's a true bolt-on, then they should make an optional manifold that you can use with the K03, K04 or GT25.

That's my only problem with APR's stage III. It is much easier to upgrade over time, then to shell out $5000 at once. If I could do it in steps (intercooler, manifold, injectors, turbo) I'd be a very happy man.
