Does anybody know if there are any major differences between the Profec-B and the Profec-B Spec II?

Does anybody know if there are any major differences between the Profec-B and the Profec-B Spec II?
I see the Spec II has an LCD display, but I'm curious if they changed anything else to make it better/worse.
For those of you who have one of these, have you had any problems with it?
I need to get a BC that's a little more reliable than the MBC I've got now, since I'll be cranking the boost up more.

I've been looking around at them too, but haven't gotten a definitive answer yet.
I "heard" that the spec2 models seem tougher to get good results from, but I could easily attribute that to the increased adjustability and the intelligence of the average riceboy who purchases one.

FWIW, those folks with DBW APR kits who run an EBC say the Profec-B, not the Spec II is the one of
choice.
Apparently the Spec 1 is easier to 'tune' and folks have had the solenoid on the IIs go south.

pretty sure the II has a smaller solenoid as well
everyone with a spec I seems happy. Maybe just like eveyone else already mentioned, we want simple because there is less to screw up. All we want is solid boost and no extra features.

Profec B II here..
and in my opinion its a POS for the price you pay.
but then i am using it on an internal WS. the problem is that, you set the boost as DUTY CYCLE (0-100%) and then you have GAIN (0-100%).
wrong settings result in boost fluttering, like car jerking hard. after several days, i still have not found the correct settings.
its anoying because you have to go through each combination to have the car not fluttering. i.e start
DUTY 1% GAIN 0%
DUTY 2% GAIN 0%
DUTY 3% GAIN 0%
DUTY 4% GAIN 0%
DUTY 5% GAIN 0%
DUTY 6% GAIN 0%
DUTY 7% GAIN 0%
DUTY 8% GAIN 0%
.
.
.
DUTY 10% GAIN 1%
DUTY 10% GAIN 2%
DUTY 10% GAIN 3%
DUTY 10% GAIN 4%
DUTY 10% GAIN 5%
DUTY 10% GAIN 6%
.
.
currently i am on DUTY 38% GAIN 19%, and it doesnt flutter in 2nd gear but flutters 3rd gear @ 5500rpm.. basically when it reaches certain boost and tries to hold it for over a period of 2sec..
and most of the time, it feels the soloid is so small that its not smooth when its trying to bleed air. the ports on the EBC solenoid were smaller than N75 ports
but on a external wastegate it has a different port (but probably the same port) so it might be better at that. i am planning to get a bigger wg actuater later down the road.. i think forge was selling it, the serviceable one.. do you remember which company it was?
one good think i like is the display, it shows peak boost setting, and acts as a boost gauge, nice feature, but thats about it. i don't like the rest.
