Doing own Toe and Rear Camber alignment on my A4. Any tips/tricks/issues?
#2
Ok, should I event attempt this? Thought about it and it will take some setting up ...
1) Setup rectangle around car, parallel equidistant each side
2) Measure toe using trigonometry
3) Jack car, remove wheels, adjust control arm nuts, put on wheels, lower, measure toe again
4) Calculate relationship between # of threads and degree of toe. Compare both side to make sure.
5) Test drive, if all is well, rip it up.
This is the way I have envisioned it. With my coilovers I could raise and lower during fall and spring and just use the X*threads=Degrees of Toe
to make adjustements.
Before I make investments on tools, am I missing something?

Check here for some tools
You might want to get some of the tools that some guys take to the track to do such adjustments if you are going to do it yourself. They dont have to be wildly expensive to do a reasonable job once you get the hang of them

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/align.htm</a

When doing an alignment after lowering the car, is the dealer able to eliminate the negative camber?
