worth it?, that's a personal descision
not to me at the price they cost new. I drove a car with one and the effect was very noticable and nice. The tranny feels rock solid with that thing on. I liked it, I would buy one used if I found a good deal. Install looks pretty easy, just a few bolts. I know some people (usually people who live in places with harsh winters and salted roads) have found that the threaded holes in the tranny that the tranny mount part of the DTS systems screws in might be a little caked up. This making it hard to get the screws into. So that might be something to watchout for. I would try to screw the screws in first before putting everything else together.
