I get a CEL
well....at least the way I'm trying to feel it I get a CEL. I never got a cat efficiency code with the APR HFC. Now with the test pipe, I get a cat efficiency code. But if yuo say it doesn't cause a CEL, then I guess I was getting the CEL from the other codes I used to have. Problem is I've had the rear 02 inside the spark plug defowler to try and fool the ECU, and I get a few other DTCs now for the rear 02 and they trip a CEL.

I used spark plug non-fouler
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/49455/non-fouler.jpg"></center><p>I bought two non-foulers from Autozone. I drilled out the first one so the o2 sensor seated nicely in it. I then srewed this into the second non-fouler. Srewed the whole thing into the downpipe bung. Presto no cel!
The o2 sensor still heats properly, but only measures a small amount of exhaust thru the small hole in the non-fouler!

I tried this with no luck
I even drilled the other one out to try to get more gas to the 02 sensor. I get a "no activity" code when I have the 02 in the non fowlers. Same code if I use 1 or 2 non fowlers. If I don't use any, I get the cat efficiency code. Could it be that I didn't drill out a big enough hole to fit the 02? How big a bit did you use? I used a .5" bit, but it was still tight screwing in the 02. So I had to dremel some more out. The 02 still fits pretty tightly in there so I'm wondering if that's the issue?
