Driveline question - differential and mounts
Due to wear of a beat old front engine (snub) mount, my side engine mounts came apart. (99 A6 2.8Q-Tip) During this, my differential mount also gave out (I am getting that cowbell rattle under a heavy 1st gear). I read the tech writeup by Nick (https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng51.shtml) and was wondering if this is a familiar issue in the community, and how long it would take for this replacement? If anyone knows that or has done it in the passed how much did it cost?
