EGT temps please... T28
I just installed a t28, and I have a EGT gauge w/ the probe on the manifold where all 4 cylinder gasses come together before the turbo. If you have real EGT temps for A4's I'd like to compare mine w/ yours.. thanks~
btw, how much psi do you T28 guys boost when its cold out... let's say 55-60F?

Sounds like my sensor is in the same place as yours.
My temps are running pretty hi for my taste. From a dead stop, I can run WOT through 2nd, and about 1/2 way through 3rd it'll hit 950f, & that's when I back off. Working on a method to reduce that, so I can actually complete a 1/4 mile stretch, and track the car. Otherwise, just daily driving, it stays under 800, idles around 450-500, cruising around 600-650.

At idle, around 900F, highway cruising around 1400F
At WOT, it hits 1700F easily. I'm currently looking into ways to lower it. More fuel might help, less boost, or advancing the timing. I'll have to see what kind of temps I get with the water injection enabled.
As for what boost you see, check out the thread below, if you're letting the ECU control boost, you will see less boost in colder weather than you would in warmer weather.

https://forums.audiworld.com/performance/msgs/46741.phtml
