Default electric fan kit and boost numbers

after installing the SPR electric fan kit (a writeup is coming soon) I've noticed my boost numbers are about ~2psi lower than pre-efk. What would cause this? Could it be that less strain on the engine means less boost is required to produce the same results? Any ideas?

thanks... josh

Default Check all your vacuum connections....

It's possible one may have a leak. Maybe you bumped one loose?

I don't see a reason why it would affect the boost level. If it did, it would not be that much of a difference, maybe .5psi at the most.

Try and get ahold of a VAGCOM and log block 115, and see what the requested boost and actual boost is.
