Default Evolution Motor Sports V-2 revised cone intake

it uses a diffirent material for the tube for better heat reflection-(?) it stayes much cooler to the touch. it also is designed to use the stock heat shield in conjuction with the aftermarket one, and creates a air pocket between them.

Default is that the one pes sells? I'm about to rip mine out!

Too freakin loud and dumpy sounding. Going back to my silent stock airbox, with mods to come!

Default Hmmm - my original Turbo5 intake had the same tube, minus that lump and nut.

Gee - that sounded odd, but anyway - what's up with the, uhhhhhhhhhh, Lumpy Nut?

My original Turbo5 (actually - when I got mine it was just an MC Intake) intake had the black textured metal too.

Default its actually a heavy plastic, and it's tube is a bit diffirent from the MC one

no unnescarry hole for the heatsink on 2000+

the main diff is the double heat shield, it really keeps the intake cooler to the touch, though it still has hot air flowing in.

eventually id like to have something like "DMAK"
that "ITG" carbon fiber canister

Default The new redesigned tube is cooler because of the heat shielding done on this kit...

The heat shield from the kit along with the factory one has a gap (air pocket) there using air to create a buffer zone to further reflect heat from the turbo across from the air box. Can you tell me what material that heat shield is made of? Thanks.
