Default Exhaust choice for my t-28....

Just finished installing Ed's old T-28 kit this weekend. Thanks Ed everything went well. Install went fairly well... no big problems. The PES manifold is the biggest pain in the ***. I can't believe they actually put something like that in the market. Hopefully the new version is better. Total time to install took me about 8 hours and the car runs great.

On to my question... I have an opportunity to pick up a borla exhaust for cheap but my concern is that it is to small for the T-28. i currently have a test pipe and my stock exhaust.Should I pass and get a 2.5" with the test pipe or would the borla-test pipe combo yield similar results?

Default I just installed my T-28 kit and have a borla

I did very well on the dyno. I do not think that you will see huge gains. I am mainly getting a better exhaust to relocate the CAT in the hopes that it will help w/ spoolup, not overall HP.

I am getting a Milltek and making a 3" DP with a 3" High Flow CAT under the car. (BTW - My Borla is for sale)

IIRC - Ed ran a very good time w/ his Borla.

Default I have been using a 3" turbo back with 1 muffler and a test pipe...

While it is loud as hell the power up top is simply incredible.

Default Everything has been used from stock to 3".

I even used the stock dp which is less then 2" to a 2.5" exhaust and still put down 225 hp down to the wheels on 21psi with a 93 octane chip.

Default I did the same thing with my new exhaust

which is a custom 3" turbo back with high flow cat from Matrix. I cut the flanges off the cat and moved it to just after the 3" flex pipe and had it welded in place.
