Default federal emmisions

Does anyone know whether the A4 engine has its timing altered to meet Federal Emmisions Standards?
I know the many European manufacturers have altered timing to meet the specs, but usually with a degradation in power. I was wondering if there is any free power to be had with the 1.8 TQ?

Default do a search for chip upgrade

or go to www.goapr.com

aka you can get 30-50hp out of just a software change...so yes
