Final Gear Ratio..
Has anyone ever looked into this? The way the TT is setup I have a top speed of about 162ish mph and honestly I don't need it.. I mean when the hell do I need to go that fast? Unless someone is chasing me, never.. Now what would I have to do, installion wise and how much are we talking about? im thinking since I have haldex this might be out of the question.. or no?

A couple thoughts...
Take all this with a grain of salt, but here's what I know...
There are two final drives in the transmission (one for 1-3?, one for 4-6?). If you change only one, you'll end up with a weird set of overall ratios (probably overlapping). And I don't think I've seen any aftermarket tranny parts for the 225TTQ yet.
I don't know anything about the f/r diffs; i.e. if you can easily change the ratios on them.
The easiest solution is probably to get wheels/tires with smaller overall diameter, but this would look a little odd for street use. I don't think 16" wheels will fit on the front of a 225, so you'd have to go with lower profile 17" tires.
I've run some numbers that suggest 0-60 and 1/4mi would improve substantially with shorter gearing (even counting the extra shifts), but not sure how well those numbers would hold up in the real world.
