while prepping my manifold for the egr sensor, i took a gander into my k04.. the turbine seems to be chipped.. i guess a pebble or something got sucked into it and caused the damage. after drooling all over dmak's car, ive decided to get the 3 or 3+ dependant on pricing.
ive read posts that during the apr bbq earlier this year, that apr was going to "adjust" their prices.. any word on this?

maybe i'll purchase that manifold on 8vturbo.com and mate a gt25 or a t3 to it.. the only only thing i would need is the software to run this turbo.. i already have larger injectors, 5bar fpr, and a spearco fmic. garret is supposedly working on a gt25 program, if so, then all i need to do is send him $20 for an upgrade..

Um... Guess again. According to AWE, not even the K04 is included in the chip upgrade program.

giac does make a k04 chip.. i have one.

No kidding. What I'm SAYING is that AWE says that cross-turbo chip upgrades are NOT $20.
