Default Is there anyway to make it so the turbo sits a little further back.

Are you still running the T28. I think I might want to go to a bigger turbo soon for racing.

Probably, but the whole point of this manifold is to keep the turbo in the stock location so the stock intake and exhaust location can be used. Putting a larger frame turbo is on it is no big deal, just involves putting in the t3 frame adapter plate on insted of the T25/T28.

I looked at Audi R4R and his manifold and it brings the turbo very far away from the manifold.

Default I am thinking more on the line of putting a big GT25/GT35 hybrid . The main problem is

getting a full 3" snorkel up and around where the stock intake is at now and I will be doing a custom 3" exhaust anyway that will have the cat under the car. So I need more room in front of the turbo and can lose a little room in the back.

[newbie question] What's the benefit of equal length headers?

Default Just an educated guess, but it would then keep the pressure the same across all cylinders.

If you have mismatched pressure, or too far out of sync the pistons/spark would not fire evenly.

This is standard on all engines except for crappy cast stock exhaust manifolds.

Default Our stock manifolds are more of a 2-2 pulse while a equal length manifold

would keep it at 1-1-1-1 pulse so the turbo keeps a steady spool.

Default Please cut a slit in between the bolt holes to account for expansion...

or you'll be sorry....Head could warp, maybe manifold, might back out studs, etc.

This is still a prototype, didn't want to finalize it if it didn't fit or work correctly.
