Default Finaly figured a way to post my dyno sheet

My scaner has been busted since middle of last year and Im to lazy to get it fixed but I found a way, I took a picture with my digicam.
The NOS run is not complete. I had the wrong 75 shot jets and that sent the rod out the side of the block the firs time I hit it.
Notice the torque at 3800 rpm 312.7 with NOS
with out NOS is 170 or some where in that area
I made 18 runs on the dyno at 30 psi and my max hp was 418.4 and max torque 359.9 with out NOS

Default You are brave adding NOS (of any shot size) to 35-40 psi boost.

Just curious. What actually broke? What's been done to the rods other than maybe bolts? Did any of the pistons show signs of softening or melting on the tops? Any sparkles of aluminum on the plug insulators?

Failure analysis should be performed so you know what to strengthen before you try NOS again.

NO the rods and pistons took it well no sighns of anything but the jet sizing was wrong and I had too much NOS and not enough fuel and the NOS back fired and the rod bolt didnt take it very well.
This year Im building the whole engine no more stock parts forged everything.

Default Forged parts are a very good idea, but you may be pushing

the limits of the block.

You broke a rod bolt? Was that rod still attached to the piston? Any pics?

I will make pictures of the rod and the piston or whats left of it.
The jets were wrong and it ave way too much NOS and it backfired ant thats how the **** hit the fan
The intercooler end tanks look like baloons, they are no longer square thy are round.

At 2 bar boost you should be making at least 200 hp/ltr at the flywheel w/o NOS. :-)
