Default First data on the Wilson Manifold and TB mod...

After waking up properly I have made what I "think" are the appropriate edits for accuracy to Gary's e-mail. Thanks for the understanding. This is the first data on the testing with the modified TB and intake manifold:

Hi Bob,

Sorry took so long. Here's some VAG data for max air readings:

Modified intake manifold and TB (Dahlback-chip, AireTek intake, FMIC, down pipes, high flow cats, Milltek resonated exhuast, 007P DV)
RPM g/s Pressure at manifold (Nm) Temp(C)
6240 225.64 2270 40
6480 223.89 2230 40
6720 224.67 2150 41
6160 226.42 2250 39

Stock intake manifold and TB (Dahlback-chip, AireTek intake, FMIC, down pipes, high flow cats, Milltek resonated exhuast, 007P DV)
RPM g/s Pressure at manifold (Nm) Temp(C)
6240 194.69 2070 41
6800 194.19 2210 41
6840 191.39 1940 40

Stock intake manifold and TB (X-Chip w/FMIC program, AireTek intake, FMIC, down pipes, high flow cats, Milltek resonated, 007P DV)
RPM g/s Pressure at manifold (Nm) Temp(C)
5800 201.47 2280 41

Stock intake manifold and TB (X-Chip w/FMIC program, AireTek intake, FMIC, Milltek resonated, 006 DV)
RPM g/s Pressure at manifold (Nm) Temp(C)
5560 184.58 2260 42
5440 189.67 2260 42

stock air box, stock manifold and TB, APR exhaust and Chip, 006 DV
RPM g/s Pressure at manifold (Nm) Temp(C)
5920 184.89 1790 40
5600 176.97 2140 42

You can see that there is an increase in flow in all the d-chip after the porting. The pre-ported D-chip and X-chip have pretty much the same flow, with the stock air / APR combo with the least.

The APR condition can be considered my "base," since that is when I had the least amount of mods.

- Gary

(any questions about the above numbers will require that I get Gary to answer. He is the VAG guy and I do not want to cloud the issue with my lack of hands-on with the data gathering. I hope this helps. Gary sent this to me late at night after his busy day and said... " I'm darn tired, I'll analyze more tomorrow." Thanks all for your patience =) )

Default YES! I have noticed it most in my car with more ooomph from 5200-6400 rpm...

With the APR chip I have the car used to flatten out at 5200. Now it pulls strong to 6400 :-)
