Default flange on catylitic converter,,is it threaded or through bolted,,,,,(

2001 A4 1.8T tipronic
went to install my cat back exhaust(BORLA) and found nuts and bolts,,,,is the flange theaded with a nut back-up? or is this a through bolt installation?
i hope it's through hole,,,if i break the bolts they'll just fall out,,,,the other way means it's still in the flange
